MDST 2301 - Film History I (1890-1945)

This course examines the development of cinema as an art form from its beginnings in the late 19th century through the end of World War II.  Students will study selected films representing different genres, movements, and technological developments in word cinema.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 1102 or 1102H with a grade of C or higher.
