The Lewis F. Rogers Institute for Environmental and Spatial Analysis offers interdisciplinary programs of study that lead to the Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Environmental Spatial Analysis. These programs have a foundation in geospatial technology including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and global positioning systems (GPS). Geospatial technology is used for creating, capturing and analyzing, displaying and managing geographically referenced information. Geospatial skills have practical applications across a broad selection of disciplines. A variety of concentrations are available within this program of study, including but not limited to Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Information Technology, and Engineering. Students who have successfully completed this program have gained employment in the public and private sectors as well as matriculated to graduate degree programs at major universities.
