University of North Georgia offers a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Students must possess a bachelor’s degree and meet all admission requirements. The curriculum consists of nine semesters and uses a hybrid Problem Based Learning format. Evidence Based Practice and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Core values are emphasized throughout the curriculum and are role modeled and practiced in the North Georgia Faculty Practice. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to sit for the national licensure examination in Physical Therapy.
