The Mike Cottrell College of Business Department of Marketing & Logistics offers the BBA Marketing degree. Upper-level courses supporting the Marketing degree are available on the Dahlonega and Gainesville campuses. Upper-level courses supporting the Technology Management degree are offered at Gainesville.
The Marketing major provides a solid foundation in key areas of marketing along with a strong background in the practices and theories that are the foundation of contemporary marketing in the global competitive marketplace.
Marketing majors are trained in advertising, consumer behavior, digital marketing, marketing research, personal selling and electives that provide the students opportunity to develop specialized marketing knowledge. The Marketing & Logistics Department offers the BBA in Marketing with concentrations in Digital Marketing, Professional Selling, and General Marketing.
In order to complete a BBA in Marketing, students must meet the Admission to Upper Division requirements for the Mike Cottrell College of Business prior to enrolling in most 3000/4000 level courses. Students must complete the Student Professional Development Program (PROS) 90 days prior to graduation with a BBA degree.
