Foreign Language Requirement (3 hours)

Completion of language course that demonstrates competency at the 1002-level or above.  If the foreign language requirement is satisfied in Core Area B or C, then an additional Area F Elective may be selected.

Newspaper Production

• JOUR 2000 - Newspaper Production

• Journalism majors working on the newspaper staff may earn general elective credit in a Bachelor’s degree program for satisfactory completion of JOUR 2000.  No degree credit for JOUR 2000 is applicable at GSC.  Financial aid may not pay for JOUR 2000, but newspaper staff scholarships may be available.  JOUR 2000 may be taken up to four times for a maximum of 8 credit hours.
