Human Services Delivery and Administration Interdisciplinary Concentration (B.A.)

Bachelor of Arts in Human Services Delivery and Administration (HSDA) program prepares students for careers in government, business, and non-profit organizations.  Human Services are services, occupations, and professions that concentrate on improving and/or maintaining the physical and mental health and general well-being of individuals, groups, and communities in society.

Human Services are generally classified into four service categories:

  • Information or advising services such as libraries, museums, and hotlines;
  • Maintenance services such as civil service and public welfare programs;
  • Personal services such as counseling; and
  • Protection services such as public health, criminal justice, and social services.

Admissions requirements:

  • Students may declare the HSDA program at anytime upon admission to GSC.
  • Students must earn a grade of C or higher in all prerequisite courses and earn a grade of C or higher in all 3000- and 4000-level courses.
  • Students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours in major curriculum courses in residency at GSC.
  • Students must meet all other GSC graduation requirements.
