Area C: No exceptions

Area D: MATH 1450 or MATH 2460

Area E: No exceptions

Area F. Courses Appropriate to Major 18 hours

• MATH 2460 - Calculus II (if not taken in Area D)

• Note: MATH 2400 or MATH 2510 may be taken in Area F when 2460 is taken in Area D.

• MATH 2470 - Calculus III
• MATH 2800 - Introduction to Mathematical Proof
• Carry over from Area A and/or Area D (1-2 hours)

• CSCI 1301 - Computer Science I
• CSCI 1371 - Computing for Scientists and Engineers

• MATH 2400 - Elementary Statistics
• MATH 2510 - Introduction to Discrete Mathematics

Major Requirements 60 hours

Other Requirements:

• No mathematics course with a grade of D will be allowed in an official program of study.
• Senior Exit Exam and Exit Questionnaire
