Students must work with the Department of Teacher Education to ensure that the requirements for Teacher Certification are met, as well as work with an advisor from Biology.

- Upper division BIOL courses (4 hours)
- Upper division courses from BIOL, CHEM or ESCI not used in areas above (5 hours)
Upper-Division Education courses 30 hours
Additional Course Requirements
- PHYS 1111 or PHYS 2211 and either PHYS 1112 or PHYS 2212, with labs (suitable for Area D)
- Lower-division EDUC courses (9 hours)
