Engineering Program Requirements
Area F (18 Hours)
Gainesville State College, a Regents’ Engineering Transfer Program Institution, gives students several alternatives to articulate to upper division institutions. Formal engineering transfer agreements have been developed with the Georgia Institute of Technology, The University of Georgia, Southern Polytechnic State University, and Mercer University. Gainesville State College offers the student several options in engineering and engineering technology including: the Associate of Science Degree in Engineering, the Associate of Science Degree in Engineering Technology, the Associate of Science Degree in Agricultural Engineering, the Associate of Science Degree in Biological Engineering , the Associate of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, the Associate of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology, and the Associate of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Physical Education Requirement
Two courses including PHED 1020 are required. Required Courses (12 hours)
Note
Physics 1111/1111L & 1112/1112L or 2211/2211L & 2212/2212L should be taken in Area D. If not, they will be required in Area F. Elective Courses (6 hours)
