Anthropology (A.A.)


This is an Associate of Arts Degree in Core Curriculum with Pathway Courses related to Anthropology.

Core Curriculum Requirements 60 hours

Area A1: No exceptions

Area A2: No exceptions

Area B: Linguistic Anthropology & Cultural Anthropology students complete a modern language through the 2000-level. One 1002- and one 2000-level modern language course may be used to meet a requirement in Area B and C respectively.

Area C: Linguistic Anthropology & Cultural Anthropology students complete a modern language through the 2000-level. One 1002- and one 2000-level modern language course may be used to meet a requirement in Area B and C respectively.

Area D:

  • Biological Anthropology students take BIOL 1107K-1108K in Area D.
  • Archaeology students take GEOL 1121K & 1122K with labs in Area D.
  • Cultural Anthropology students take BIOL 1260 – BIOL 1102 with labs in Area D.

Area E: No exceptions
