• CSCI 1301 - Computer Science I
• CSCI 1302 - Computer Science II
• CSCI 2150 - Computer Ethics and Social Issues
• MATH 2510 - Introduction to Discrete Mathematics
• Carryover from Area A or D (0-1 hour)

Select one:

• MATH 1450 - Calculus I
• MATH 2400 - Elementary Statistics
• MATH 2460 - Calculus II

• *MATH 2460 if MATH 1450 taken in Area A

Major Requirements - 60 hours

Optional: Concentration in Information Assurance and Security (IAS)

Computer Science majors may declare a concentration in Information Assurance and Security (IAS). The required courses for the concentration are the following four electives:

• CSCI 3050 - Information Security
• CSCI 3250 - Computer Security
• CSCI 3350 - Computer Forensics
• CSCI 4650 - Network Security
