Political Science with American Politics Concentration (B.S.)

The Political Science with American Politics Concentration is designed to give students of American Politics a more intensive experience with the diverse aspects of our political system. Students who choose this concentration are required to take two different 6 hour internships which focus on differing aspects of the American political system. Students will work closely with their advisor to determine the appropriateness of these internships.

No grade below “C” will be acceptable in any Political Science or International Affairs course or any course in the major area for Political Science, Strategic & Security Studies, or International Affairs majors.

Core Curriculum (Areas A-E) - 42 hours

Area D: MATH 1401 (suggested for all POLS and IA majors to take in the core)
