Natural Sciences (A.S.)

This is an Associate of Science Degree in Core Curriculum with Pathway Courses related to Natural Sciences. Students may choose a pathway in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.

Core Curriculum (Areas A-E) - 42 hours

Area A1: No exceptions

Area A2: MATH 1113 or MATH 1450

Area B: No exceptions

Area C: No exceptions

Area D: CHEM 1211/1211L and CHEM 1212/1212L are required for the Biology, Chemistry, and Physics pathways. MATH 1401 is recommended for Biology, MATH 1450 or MATH 2460 (if MATH 1450 was taken in A) is recommended for Chemistry and Physics.

Area F: Pathway Courses Related to Biology - 18 hours

Required Courses - 16 hours
