Nursing (BSN)

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program is a traditional four-year program for students with no nursing licensure who want to become a registered nurse. Students who have previously earned a baccalaureate degree in an area outside of Nursing may apply to the BSN program as a post baccalaureate student through the Accelerated BSN path outlined below, which shortens the time to degree and licensure.

Through rigorous classes, practice in our simulation labs, and intensive clinical experiences, you’ll be prepared to be a nurse generalist with knowledge and skills to practice in acute and community settings.

By the time you graduate, you’ll be eligible to sit for the licensure exam (NCLEX) required for practice as a registered nurse.

Program requirements for the BSN and ABSN admission paths are found below.  More information about program requirements can be found on the BSN webpage: https://ung.edu/degrees/bachelors/nursing.php
