The Graduate Certificate in Technology Leadership program bridges the gap between technical proficiency and strategic leadership, empowering participants to lead innovative technology teams, drive digital transformation, and effectively manage technology projects in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on critical aspects of technology leadership, including strategic planning, project management, innovation management, technology governance, and digital transformation strategies. The Technology Leadership Certificate program is available to anyone with a bachelor’s degree who wants to add technology leadership knowledge and capabilities to their credentials. Participants do not need to be enrolled in a degree program.

Admission Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (as defined in the Graduate Catalog).

Technology

Students are expected to:

• Engage in electronic collaboration using email and the basic functions of software for online meetings (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
• Develop proficiency with the learning management system(s) used to administer courses.
• Be competent using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Have access to a personal computer (and not rely on cell phones, tablets, or Chromebooks) to run required software.

While the program is primarily asynchronous, online synchronous meetings may be required for program orientation and occasionally throughout the program.
