General Studies (A.S.)

Area F (18 Hours) (See Academic Advisor for Course Selection)

This program allows more flexibility in Area F course selections than do most Core Curriculum Transfer Programs. It may be the program of choice for students who:

  1. have not decided upon a major, or
  2. plan to major in an area in which the College does not offer a program of study but which requires emphasis in the Sciences and/or Mathematics, or
  3. do not wish to specialize in any particular area at the lower division level.

Requirements

I.  Must be selected from Mathematics and/or Science courses approved for Area F in any Associate of Science program of study.

  • Mathematics and/or Science Electives (12 hours)

II.  Must be selected from courses approved for Area F in any Associate of Science or Associate of Arts program of study.

  • General Electives (6 hours)
