ECON 6240 - Seminar in Economics Information economics analyzes the ways in which information affects behavior of individuals, firms and markets. Applications include coping with incomplete information, taking account of and strategically using asymmetric information, dynamic situations with informational content, contracts, pricing strategies, bargaining, auction mechanisms and bidding, signaling, insurance, and conflict management.
