MUSC 1011 - Aural Skills I

Introductory development of aural skills through aural identification, dictation, and sight-singing, with a focus on basic elements of tonal harmony, including intervals, triads, basic melodies, rhythm, and harmony. Students will become proficient with use of solfège and the Takadimi rhythm system. Meets two hours per week.
