SCED 4003 - Characteristics of Students with Mild Disabilities for Secondary Education This course is designed to address the characteristics of students (6-12) from diverse backgrounds with mild intellectual, emotional/behavioral and/or learning disabilities. Furthermore, this class addresses the conceptual and historical understanding of people with disabilities in societial contexts. Diagnosis, intervention practices, and research-based best practices for the inclusion of all students will be discussed to form a more robust understanding of the topic.
