SIED 4500 - Science Methods


SIED 4500 is a course designed to prepare middle grades and secondary science teachers to deliver hands-on, content rich science instruction and to engage students in the process of science. Georgia Standards of Excellence for Science will be used as the basis for implementation of instruction. The course will also examine psychological underpinnings of science learning, science curricula and standards, classroom logistics and safety, teaching strategies, and assessment.
