ACCT 3210 - Data Analytics for Accountants This course introduces accounting students to data analytics concepts, tools, and techniques essential for modern accounting practice. Students will develop a data-driven mindset and learn to apply analytics to accounting contexts including financial reporting, auditing, managerial accounting, and tax. The course progressively builds technical proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and Tableau while integrating artificial intelligence tools to enhance analytical capabilities. Students will learn to prepare, extract, transform, analyze, and visualize accounting data to generate actionable business insights.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisites: completion of ACCT 2101, ACCT 2102, ECON 2105, and ECON 2106
