Requirements for Music Education Majors - Each candidate for the Bachelor of Science in Music Education must also successfully complete field experience, service learning, and internship requirements as directed by the Department of Music and the College of Education. Music Education Majors must be current members of Collegiate National Association for Music Education.

Area C: No exceptions (MUSC 1100 - Music Appreciation is not an option for music majors.)

* Students whose major instrument is piano or are competent to exempt these courses must substitute two courses in MUSC 25XX (1 hour) to complete Area F. Major Requirements 76 hours
Required Music Courses 39 hours
