The Associate of Arts (A.A.) and the Associate of Science (A.S.) degrees are 2-year degrees that can be applied to a 4-year baccalaureate degree should the student choose to continue his/her post-secondary education. The academic subjects listed in this section (Area F) are advising areas of concentrated study (18 credit hours) within the A.A. and A.S. degree requirements.
This is a technical degree that prepares students to enter skilled occupations or to advance in their current jobs. These programs are not intended to transfer to a baccalaureate degree program, but certain courses may be accepted toward a baccalaureate degree.
