Mathematics/Engineering Dual Degree Program (B.S.)

Dual Degree Programs are offered in Mathematics/Engineering with the Georgia Institute of Technology, Clemson University, Kennesaw State University, Mercer University, and the University of Georgia. Students are provided the opportunity to attend the University of North Georgia for approximately three years before embarking on professional academic work at Georgia Tech, Clemson, or Kennesaw State. After completing the academic requirements of both institutions, the student receives a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of North Georgia and a bachelor’s degree in a chosen engineering field from the second institution.
Dual Degree Requirements:
- Complete the course work required by UNG as given below.
- Complete the course work required to transfer to the chosen institution with their required GPA
- Obtain a recommendation from the Dual Degree coordinator at UNG.
- Complete the required engineering program at the transfer institution.
- Apply for the second B.S. degree from UNG.
