Leadership and Public Service Minor - Military Track

The minor in Leadership and Public Service is designed for all students who spend four years in the Corps of Cadets. The curriculum of the minor is designed to prepare students for service in governmental and non-governmental agencies that focus on varied aspects of national security.
Requirements for award of the minor in Leadership and Public Service are:
- Acceptance into the program by the Military Science Department Director of Instruction.
- Completion of courses required for minor.
- Successful completion of the following:
- Noncommissioned Officer Academy (NCOA)
- Minimum of two semesters as a Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) in Corps of Cadets
- Minimum of one semester as an Officer in the Corps of Cadets
- Successful completion of all of the Area I courses (either Military or Public Service track) and three hours of coursework from courses listed in Area II or Area III.

Area II: Computer Literacy
Area III: Military History, Political Science, Sociology
