This is an Associate of Science Degree in Core IMPACTS with Pathway Courses related to Engineering Technology.
The University of North Georgia, a Regents’ Engineering Pathways program institution, gives students several alternatives to articulate to upper division institutions. Formal engineering transfer agreements have been developed with the Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Southern University, Kennesaw State University, the University of Georgia, and Mercer University.
STEM: Choice of recommended sequence: CHEM 1211/L and 1212/L; PHYS 1111/L/K and PHYS 1112/L/K; PHYS 2211/L and 2212/L. Recommended Core IMPACTS STEM electives: MATH 2460, MATH 1401, CSCI 1371, or CSCI 1301.
One (1) hour carryover from CORE IMPACTS Mathematics (MATH 1450)
Physics or Elective Courses
PHYS 1111/L/K and PHYS 1112/L/K or PHYS 2211/L/K and PHYS 2212/L/K should be taken in Core IMPACTS STEM; if not, required in the Field of Study. If taken in Core IMPACTS STEM, then some of the following electives must be taken (min 7 credit hours).
