The BS in Human Services Delivery & Administration (HSDA) with Substance Addiction Studies Concentration prepares students with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve individuals, families, groups, and communities and manage human services functions. Concentration classes in Substance Addiction Studies build on this core knowledge and emphasize the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the field of substance addiction. Students are able to apply and further develop this knowledge through three semesters of required field practicum classes; two field practicum placements must be directly related to substance addiction studies.

The degree has the option to be completed completely online.

HSDA students must achieve a grade of C or better in all required classes.

Courses should be chosen in consultation with an advisor. Note: Students may choose to pursue a minor instead of elective coursework. Some minors may not provide all 18 hours and will require an additional 3 hr course to reach the 120 hours required for graduation.
