Note: All students pursuing a degree in History must complete HIST 1111, 1112, 2111, & 2112. Typically, 2111 will be completed in IMPACTS Citizenship, 1112 will be completed in IMPACTS Social Sciences, and 1111 and 2112 will be completed in the Field of Study

Field of Study - 18 hours

A grade of “C” or higher is required for all course requirements in the Field of Study.

• HIST 1111 - World History I
• HIST 2112 - U.S. History II
• POLS 1101 - American Government
• MLAN 2001*
• Any 1000 or 2000-level ANTH, HIST, or PHIL
• HIST 1000 - Introduction to History  or Any 1000 or 2000-level ANTH, ECON, GEOG, PHIL, POLS, PSYC, or SOCI

*or MLAN 1002 if MLAN 2001 is used in Core IMPACTS Humanities
