  •  Students must complete 18 hours of 1000-2000 level coursework in support of their chosen concentrations.

Major Requirements - 60 hours


Concentrations - 45 hours


Concentrations consist of 3000-4000 level courses. Students may choose either Track A (two concentrations of 24 and 21 credit hours each) or Track B (three concentrations of 15 credit hours each).

  • A minimum 2.0 GPA is required in each concentration area

Concentrations:

  1. Business: Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Management, and Marketing
  2. Fine and Performing Arts: Art, Film/Media Studies, Interdisciplinary Fine Arts, Music, and Theater
  3. Health & Human Services: Athletic Training, Health, Human Services Delivery & Administration, Kinesiology, Nursing, Teacher Education, and Sports Medicine
  4. Humanities: Communication, English, Journalism, Modern Languages, and Philosophy
  5. Mathematics/Technology: Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Geographic Information Systems, and Mathematics
  6. Military Science & Leadership: Military Science and pre-approved Leadership courses
  7. Natural Sciences: Agriculture, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science (ENVE & ENVS), Geography, Geology, Neuroscience, Physics, and Poultry Science
  8. Social Sciences: Anthropology, Appalachian Studies, Criminal Justice, Environmental Studies (ENST), Gerontology, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology

Capstone Course - 3 hours
