PSYC 3302 - Social Psychology

Social Psychology is the scientific study of the way people think about, feel, and behave in social situations. It involves understanding how people influence, and are influenced by, others around them. As such, it is a wide ranging field studying such diverse areas as the self-concept, person perception, attitudes and attitude change, gender issues, social influence, prejudice, aggression, romantic attraction, helping behavior, and group dynamics (among others). This course will also focus on the methods that social psychologists use in gathering and organizing information about human behavior and thought.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
PSYC 1101 with a grade of C or higher.
