SPAN 3270 - Introduction to Literature An introductory literature course that traces the development of Spanish and Spanish-American literature through the study of representative texts in the various genres. Works are examined in their cultural and historical contexts through the use of literary and cultural readings, film, music, video, and the Internet. Readings include selections from Cervantes, Rulfo, Borges, García Márquez, Unamuno, Quevedo, Darío, Mistral, García Lorca, Neruda and Octavio Paz.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequiste: SPAN 2002, SPAN 2006, or their equivalent or permission of instructor.
