ENGL 2900 - Introduction to Literary Studies Introduction to Literary Studies is a foundational course for English majors that prepares students for transition to upper level studies. The course introduces students to the principles of literary study by engaging the major debates in the discipline; approaches to the conventions of genre; and a survey of literary critical perspectives and their application. Students will develop the skills necessary to perform critical analysis in reading, research and writing expected of undergraduate majors in the discipline of English.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: Completion of one 2000-level ENGL course
