SOCI 3300 - Sociology of Race and Ethnicity

This course examine racial, ethnic and cultural groups in the United States from a sociological perspective. particular attention will be paid to the political, economic, social, historic and cultural development of race as an idea; racialized opportunity in social institutions; and the intersections of race, class, gender and family in everyday life.
