THEA 4215 - Media & Projections for Theatre

The purpose of this course is to expose the student to the basic media, software, and equipment used in projections for theatrical productions.  The aesthetics of using projections in a production, as well as the possibilities and limitations, will be explored and discussed.  Students will learn basic and advanced software systems for control of digital projections in theatre, as well as, the design and engineering, hookup and troubleshooting of projection systems for live theatre.
