ECED 3001 - Child Development An overview of the development of the child from the prenatal period through the end of the school-age years. Emphasis is on language and cognitive development, especially during the school-age years. In addition, basic research designs and methods for studying and observing children are discussed, with the case study method being the focus of a major project.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education Program.
