ECED 3004 - Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten Practicum

This course provides the early childhood undergraduate major with hands-on experience in the preschool and kindergarten classrooms. Included in the course are classroom seminars, scheduled practicum hours in a designated pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classroom, completion of learning activities and lessons with young children, compilation of a professional portfolio that documents the student’s field experiences, and a variety of individual, small group, and large discussion instructional strategies.

Prerequisite/Corequisite:
Prerequisite: Admission to the Teacher Education Program.
