STAT 1501 - Chance

An area B course in which students will examine applications from a broad range of topics. By reading and discussing current news stories and journal articles, students will examine how statistics and statistical thinking are used in a variety of applications and activities. As needed, articles will be supplemented with readings from the text on basic concepts in probability and statistics
