EDD 7104 - Organizational Theory in Higher Education

This course serves as an introduction to organizational theories in higher education. Foundational readings will highlight the organizational distinctiveness of higher education institutions, while class discussions will attempt to make sense of their unique customs, procedures, and values. This course will also consider how higher education organizational structures can be transformed to meet the needs of students, society, and nation-states in the twenty-first century.
