NURS 8310 - Biostatistics

Examines the appropriate selection, generation, and interpretation of statistical techniques most commonly used in health sciences research. Descriptive, parametric, and nonparametric statistics are included. Emphasis is placed on knowledge of the underlying logic of each statistical technique, appropriate use and underlying assumptions of the procedure, interpretation of results from statistical software, and evaluation of published results using statistical procedures.
