EDL 8005 - Using Data to Focus School/District Planning and Improvement

This module helps participants and school teams to think about data beyond a cursory look at standardized test scores. School leaders learn how to identify important questions, mine a variety of data sources to find answers and make decisions based on the data they find. Participants learn to work as a team to do this work and make it meaningful. Schools that successfully improve student achievement regularly use data to guide decisions about instruction, student support and professional development. Easy-to-use processes are taught, and participants learn how data are a vital part of the school improvement process. (ISLLC 1,2,3,7)
