ATP 7206 - Head and Spine Injury Management This course is designed to prepare students to evaluate and to treat common injuries to the spine. Additionally, we will review injuries to the head and face and will emphasize treatment and rehabilitation techniques for patients with mild traumatic brain injuries and post-concussion syndrome. Students will learn to differentiate head and spine injuries from injuries to the shoulder and hip. The International Classification of Functioning Model (World Health Organization) will provide the framework for the course. This course is co-requisite to ATP 7206L and students must earn a grade of “C” or better for both lecture and lab.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisites: ATP 6301, ATP 6301L, ATP 6302, and ATP 6302L with a grade of “C” or higher
