ATP 6104 - Foundations of Orthopedics


The purpose of this course is to introduce students to key elements involved in completing an orthopedic evaluation. The elements include taking a history, observing changes in a patient’s condition, properly palpating a patient, range of motion, strength testing, and an introduction to special tests. Students will also gain exposure in how to document evaluations. A grade of “C” or better is required for this course.

Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Athletic Training Program
