ATP 6105 - Foundations of Therapeutics This course will introduce students to the basic principles of healing and therapeutic intervention. Students will gain foundational understanding of the mechanisms by which injuries heal, of the tenets of rehabilitation programming, and of the general types of modalities that may be used to optimize the healing environment within the structure of the International Classification of Functioning model. Students will learn how to safely apply or perform a variety of commonly used modalities.
Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Athletic Training Program
