NURS 8000 - DNP Independent Study The DNP Independent Study allows the doctoral nursing student to pursue additional content and/or learning experiences in a specified area. Clinical learning experiences may be a component of the independent study. Course outcomes, assignments, and experiences must be pre-approved by the supervising faculty member. Conferences between the student and the faculty occur on a periodic basis. A course portfolio is turned in to the graduate nursing office by the student at the end of the semester prior to a grade being assigned. With a change in topic this course may be repeated for credit.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: Acceptance into the DNP Program and Permission from Program Coordinator
