EDL 8303 - Performance-Based School/District Leadership

Advanced level school/district leadership candidates participate in a performance-based residency program providing significant opportunities for candidates to synthesize and apply the knowledge, skills and dispositions identified in Educator Preparation Rule 505-3-.77, the PSEL (Professional Standards for Educational Leaders) Standards, the Georgia Leadership Keys Effectiveness System (LKES) Standards as well as the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) Advanced Standards. Substantial, sustained, standards-based work in real settings planned and guided cooperatively by the institution and school district personnel for graduate credit is provided to fulfill the residency requirement.
