DYSL 6003 - Structured Language for Developing Literacy In this course, Dyslexia Endorsement students will learn evidence-based practices for teaching students with dyslexia. The course is designed to teach the continuation of the developmental progression of phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and written expression. Dyslexia Endorsement students will learn instructional practices that cultivate student learning along this progression for developing literacy. They will learn to apply these instructional practices in a way that helps students overcome barriers to typical reading development. This course will be heavily based in real-world application of course content.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisites: DYSL 6001 and DYSL 6002
