Completion through the Elementary II (1002) level of a single foreign language with a grade of “C” or better (or exemption via CLEP testing). The 1002 language may be applied in Core Area B. The 1001 language may be applied in Area F. Students exempting through CLEP examination must complete the required 18 semester hours in AREA F by taking additional courses from those listed as “major elective” or “elective” courses.
