  In addition to the nine semester hours of professional education courses listed above, students must also complete the 18 hours in AREA F to support the major discipline.
  
  Note: This major requires a total of 69 semester hours plus three hours of Physical Education.

Special Notes

Minimum requirements for admission into an undergraduate educator preparation program at all University System of Georgia institutions:

1. Students must earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on all attempted hours in the System core curriculum in areas A-F, as required for teacher preparation.
2. Students must have a passing score on the Regents’ Test.
3. Students must have a passing score on the GACE basic skills assessment.

Receiving institutions may establish higher admission requirements.
