MATH 3112 - Data Analysis for Early Childhood Education This is a course designed for Early Childhood Education majors. It is a basic course in data analysis at a level which does not require knowledge of calculus. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability and probability distributions, normal distribution, binomial distribution, hypotheses testing, and an introduction to linear correlation and regression. The course will give an understanding of the basic vocabulary and some of the more common statistical techniques for analyzing data, focusing on techniques appropriate for elementary age students.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: MATH 2008 with a grade of C or higher
