MGED 3010 - Foundations of Middle Level Schools & Their Students This course examines the concepts, principles, theories, and research that supports the tenets of the middle school philosophy as well as current trends in middle level education. A primary focus of this course will be the unique nature and development of the middle level learner. Students in this course will examine the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and psychological developmental characteristics of the early adolescent.
Prerequisite/Corequisite: Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education Program
